The Allergy and Free From Show

Supporting families beyond the diagnosis, through education, empathy and real-life experience.

Free From Families will be joining the Family Area at The Allergy & Free From Show for a live Q&A session, sharing honest experiences of raising children with allergies and the practical ways schools, settings and communities can better support allergic children. Katie Aspinall, founder of Free From Families and author of Aurora’s Special Lunchbox, will be bringing copies of the story along and delivering a live reading during the event, alongside sharing the worksheets and resources from the Allergy Allies scheme of work that are now being piloted in schools.

Katie will be joined by Clare Hussein, Free From Families trustee and volunteer, who will be sharing her own family’s allergy journey and helping to answer questions from parents and carers navigating similar challenges. Together, they will be offering reassurance, practical advice, and signposting to the support, education and community that Free From Families provides for families living with allergies, asthma and eczema.
